1. Who these terms apply to

By using Radara — whether you browse anonymously or create an account — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Radara is intended for adults: you must be 18 or older to post signals, broadcast presence, or use safety features. See our Child Safety Standards for more detail on age requirements.

2. What Radara is

Radara is a real-time, location-aware service. People drop time-bound "signals" — events, safety alerts, utility presence, deals, and other local happenings — and those signals appear on a live radar for people nearby. Signals are user-generated and automatically fade as they age. Radara also lets you form private safety circles and share your live location with trusted contacts during an SOS.

3. What you are responsible for

You own what you post. Please only share things you have the right to share, and keep it accurate. A few things are never acceptable on Radara:

False information that could mislead or endanger someone.
Content that is hateful, harassing, illegal, or that exposes another person's private details without their consent.
Posting someone else's photo, name, or whereabouts except for a genuine safety reason you have a lawful basis to share — never to embarrass, harass, track, or falsely implicate them.
Fake emergencies, SOS misuse, or anything that wastes the attention of people genuinely in danger.
Attempts to identify, stalk, or target any individual using the platform's location features.
Scraping, overloading, or reverse-engineering the Service.

4. Missing-person appeals

Radara lets people post a community appeal about someone who is missing. These appeals are posted by ordinary users and are not verified by us or by any authority — treat them as a neighbour's "please look out," not an official alert. If you post one:

Only do so for a person who is genuinely missing. A false or malicious appeal is a serious misuse and can lead to a permanent ban and referral to the authorities.
Only include a photo and details you have a lawful basis to share, and remove the appeal (or ask us to) once the person is found.
The precise location is deliberately blurred to a wide area — never rely on an appeal to pinpoint anyone.

If you are the subject of an appeal (or their guardian) and want it taken down, email info@venmara.com and we will review and remove valid requests promptly, typically within 24 hours.

5. Verified officials and official alerts

Radara can verify accounts that genuinely represent a public institution. Verification is reviewed by us and granted at our discretion; a verified account receives a badge and may send an alert to every region of its country.

Apply only for an institution you are genuinely authorised to represent, and give accurate details. Submitting false credentials, or impersonating an authority, is a serious misuse that leads to a permanent ban and may be referred to the authorities.
Nationwide alerts reach a very large audience — use them only for genuine, accurate public-interest information. Misuse can have your verification revoked and your account suspended.
Verification can be revoked at any time if it was granted in error, misused, or is no longer valid.

Verified status only tells you an account was checked by us — it is not a guarantee of any particular message, and the safety disclaimer below still applies.

6. Moderation

We want Radara to be trustworthy. We may hide, remove, or reject any content at our discretion. When enough distinct users report the same signal, it is hidden automatically while we review it. Anyone can report content in-app, or email info@venmara.com to request removal or report abuse. Accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these rules are suspended or permanently banned.

7. Safety disclaimer

Radara signals are crowd-sourced and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Radara is not an emergency service. In any emergency, contact your local emergency services first. Never make a life-safety decision based on a Radara signal alone.

8. Location and privacy

Radara uses your location to show what is around you. For most features, we reduce this to a coarse zone of around 250 metres — not your exact position. Precise location is only used when you actively choose it: during an SOS (shared privately with your trusted circle and recorded as an encrypted trail for that session) or when you opt to pin a signal to your exact spot. Neither feature is on by default. Read our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

9. Availability and changes

Radara is provided as-is. We may update features, change these Terms, or pause the Service at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Radara after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Radara and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service or from reliance on any signal posted by another user.
